Monday             1.30  -  3.00pm      General       Gro

N.B. THIS CLASS WILL NOT BE HAPPENING DURING THE AUTUMN 2019 TERM

This class, based on the Iyengar style of teaching, works through asanas (poses) to gradually build up body awareness, strength, stability and flexibility. Although teaching to the group, care is taken to look after individual needs with the use of chairs, blankets, blocks and belts to help students get into poses with alignment and awareness.

 

Monday              6.00  -  7.30pm      Mixed Ability                       Gini

This class builds up to work deep in the postures with strength and breath work, bringing about a sense of grounding and body alignment, and finishes with relaxation.  The class is suitable for mixed ability but please contact us before attending.

 

Tuesday              3.30   -  5pm     General       Gro

Friday                   9.00 - 10.30am      Mixed Ability                   Rosanne

This class works through from gentle stretches to deeper and more detailed work of the asanas. Use of props mean that the poses can be adapted for all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners. We will explore different themes and aspects of asanas and pranayama (poses and breathing techniques) with each class having a slightly different emphasis. The class will always finish with a deep relaxation.
